Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Ian Preston. We bought an Audi from the dealership this week. He wasn’t pushy or intimidating like some Car sales men are. He made the whole process so easy and seamless. absolutely love the car and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this garage to anyone else. Thanks again. X
Bought what I thought was a lovely XC90R design on a 2013 after part exchanging my 2011 which I also bought from Mill. Must have been around 5 pm and the light wasn't great but upon seeing the car I noticed an issue with the shine and paint on one side. I highlighted this to the manager who told me 'it needed a good buff'. It was a high value Selekt car and had their 100 point check. I took his word for it and drove it home. The next day I walked up to the car and saw it in better light and It looked horrendous. Wow. A real shocker. I took it to a local bodyshops who told me the car had been in what looked like a big accident all the way down the passenger side. Practically the whole side had filler in it and the job carried out was very poor. Not a chance the Volvo could still be under paint warranty because it was aweful. Upon informing Mill I was faced with plenty of doubt and had to argue my case. They eventually listened and took the car back for repair but chose the cheapest repair possible and one that is particularly hard to do which was to replace the door skins ignoring the filler in the other panels. What option did I have ? I contacted Volvo who were equally pathetic siding with the dealer. The dealer at one point told me how 99% of customers would not notice the issue. I assume they are referring to the blind customers they serve. The car came back from an Approved Volvo repair shop and needless to say it could be described as worse I travelled 2 hours to collect the car yet the garage didn't check the quality. The finish was shoddy and the doors didn't even fit anymore. They lines were wrong and my fears were realised. I told them to sort it out again. They sent it back and once again didn't improve it by much. Doors still didn't fit properly and the lines were ruined on this £20K + car. No support from Volvo other than a 1K contribution towards another car even though i told them that Mill were refunding money but not the full amount I paid plus the PX car th at I wanted back had been sold within an hour of me dropping it off allegedly. I cannot warn people enough from thks dealer. The worst experience I've ever had and I drive 3 other Volvo's and am a classic enthusiast. I gave Mill plenty of opportunities to correct the car and finally refund the money entirely but they misled and bullied their way through the whole experience. Stay away as there are much better dealers in the area. New Volvo's are available across the region at the same or lower prices.
This is the best garage i have ever been to so friendly they make you feel special and nothing to much trouble
Great service from Dominic. He was adamant we buy the right car for us, not just a car. Time was taken and we didn't feel like a number / monthly target, but like real people whose needs mattered. Would recommend.
I've had nothing but problems! Ive contacted them several times and even on the day the car was delivered 28th Feb 2019. Sales rep wouldn't stop calling for payments and rush you through sales but when there is issues with the car they wouldn't wanna know. Spoken to sales manager Stuart which was Thursday last week and he promised to get back but he still hasn't which is annoying. Problems with car headlights condensation, sim card holder broken, cars pulling to the left, tyres are not correct, vehicle on call subscription expired and service or repair warning keeps popping up. I've been trying to resolve this since I bought the car on 28th Feb 2019 and yet it hasn't been solved. So I would suggest if anyone does buy a car from this dealer, has everything checked before paying. The volvo s90 Is only 8months old and I'm having to deal with the problems which should've been fixed when delivered to me.
